The Progress Manager's Role

Who are the Progress Managers?

Year 5: Miss Jessop
Year 6: Mr Lewis
Year 7: Mr Watkins
Year 8: Mrs Rowley

What do they do?

There are around 500 students in the school organised into 4 year groups according to age. Each Progress Manager has an overview of information concerning personal, family or medical matters in their year group, as well as monitoring student progress and identifying and following up underachievement across the curriculum.

Progress Managers organise weekly assemblies for their year group. The photograph shows a recent Year 7 assembly when Alan Crowther, a blind sportsman, visited.

Don't hesitate to contact the Progress Manager in charge of your child's Year Group if your child is experiencing problems at school. If you need to speak to a Progress Manager or any member of staff, please telephone the school office first to arrange an appointment unless the matter is extremely urgent.
