Personal Property Please mark names clearly on all personal equipment and clothing. A small school bag is recommended; large bags are difficult to store and cause obstructions. There is unfortunately little storage space in school for personal property though class teachers will try to help if they are asked. ![]() The school cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to students’ personal property: personal property is not covered under school insurance. Large amounts of cash or items of value such as audio equipment or computer games must NEVER be brought in to school by students. Swapping is forbidden. Mobile phones are not allowed in school, as they are costly and easily damaged or lost. If parents need students to have a mobile phone at the end of school for safety reasons only, they need to write a note to Mrs Glover, the Office Manger, requesting that the phone is looked after in the school office during the day. It is a condition of acceptance that student names are marked clearly and indelibly on phones, and phones left at the office must be the most basic models available - i.e. with no camera. We cannot take financial responsibility for phones brought into school if these conditions are not met. Please remind your child that small desirable items with no name on, for example sums of cash or expensive pens, should never be left in coat pockets or in bags. |
