Thursday 4th March was World Book Day. Mrs Higgs our school librarian organised a lunchtime party in the Lower Youth Centre - otherwise known as “The Billiard Room” - for all Year 5 students who came into school dressed as book characters – quite a large number! Thanks to Mrs Higgs and several other staff who supported with games and ideas, and very well done the children for the inventive ideas used for costumes.
The picture at the top shows the competition winners with Mrs Higgs, well done to them. As far as I could see, a great time was had by all.
