On Friday 8th January Mrs Croft held the Young Chef Challenge open to Key Stage 3 students. Entrants must cook 2 plates of a healthy main course dish, in one hour, and the cost of ingredients has to be £6 or less (with receipts to prove it)! Please note that several other students entered but Mrs Croft and team were understandably too busy to take photos - sorry!
Several Year 7 and 8 students "stepped up to the plate” and took the challenge. There was no shortage of volunteers for the judging! The winners then moved on to a “cook off” judged by the Rotary Club of Uttoxeter. Thank you very much to the judges, pictured above with the 3 finalists and with Mrs Croft.
